As part of Gardens and Health Week, the National Garden Scheme has some fantastic open days to see gardens in your area and even your neighbourhood. Today, 13 May is World Bonsai Day! I have always been fascinated by these little trees, there’s something magical about them.

Royal Botanic Kew Gardens in London have an article on 10 Tips to grow a healthy bonsai tree written by their bonsai expert Richard Kernick.

I love these videos! I could watch these time lapse videos of vegetables growing all day. Apart from being calming, they show how many days it takes to grow a vegetable from seed to harvest. This can help with growing from seed and what happens next.
