To Sow in February

It’s February, the light levels are increasing and spring is not far away. It is still however cold and the end of Winter in the UK, we could still see some long cold periods and frost. Tender or warm loving fruits and vegetables do not like the cold so why not start them off indoors first.

Seed Sowing – Things you’ll Need:

  • A sunny bright windowsill or grow lights or a heat mat (if you haven’t got a light windowsill),
  • Cell trays and compost,
  • Packets of seeds,
  • A little bit of water in a jug
  • Plant label and pen
